Non-Europeans may require a visa while performing flight training in Spain, or taking exams in UK.
Please keep in mind that Fly EPT Spain's PPL (and ATPL) theoretical knowledge instruction courses are delivered entirely online so you must remain at home while completing the self-study distance learning. There are five (5) days of classroom tuition but this is delivered over ZOOM, so you can plan to remain at home throughout the entire PPL ground school.
Students should plan to report for flight training ready to sit all nine (9) PPL exams on the first day, and you can expect to sit all nine (9) PPL exams in one (1) day.
Following the PPL exams, you can start the practical flight training the next day and you should budget five (5) weeks to complete the 45 hours PPL flight training syllabus.
Once you pass your PPL skill test, you can go back home or take a short break. Once you post your licence application forms to your chosen EASA state of licence issue (SOLI) it will take a few weeks before your new PPL licence will arrive in the post.
Once your new Private Pilot Licence (PPL) arrives can you then continue with the hour building phase.
It is possible to complete the hour building in one (1) month.
A 3-month Schengen Visa is more than sufficient time to complete the PPL and hour building.
